Paul Coulter is a British writer, comedian and historian, whose critically acclaimed live show, ‘5 Mistakes That Changed History’, has become a hit on the comedy festival circuit. The show has sold out three years in a row at both the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals. Popular with history-loving audiences and comedy fans alike, it was named by the British Comedy Guide as one of the best reviewed Edinburgh Fringe shows and selected as one of the 'Picks of the Fringe’.

Paul is the author of the bestselling book ‘10 Mistakes That Changed History’ which was published by Penguin Random House in 2025. Paul has appeared on air talking about History’s greatest mistakes on BBC World News, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 5, BBC Radio London and Times Radio.
