About Paul

Paul Coulter is a British writer, comedian and historian, whose critically acclaimed live show, ‘5 Mistakes That Changed History’, has become a hit on the comedy festival circuit. The show has sold out two years in a row at both the Edinburgh Festival and Adelaide Fringe. Popular with history-loving audiences and comedy fans alike, it was named by the British Comedy Guide as one of the best reviewed Edinburgh Fringe shows and selected as one of the 'Picks of the Fringe’. 

Paul is originally from Dorset and studied History at University College London. His first book ‘10 Mistakes That Changed History’ will be published in Penguin Random House in June 2025.
